Yesterday was Björk´s 40th Birthday.

This is a photo of ALMAR, the 13 year old genius who opened for us Saturday night here in Reykjavik.

He was incredible, and he played with me in Drekka also that night.

Tonight, we play at Smekkleysa; the record store run by Einar of KUKL and Sugarcubes and Ghostigital. I am going to be very nervous and excited.

There are some amazing new releases here in Iceland, besides Sigur Rós... I will report on them soon.

I was going to try to post a new photo, but internet access has been scarce the past few days.

I am in an internet cafe in Dresden, called SpiderWWWeb. They are playing Gary Glitter... it´s very weird. I always think of the Cure´s version... oh wait... it´s not Gary Glitter, it´s the JAMS version of the Doctor Who theme... wow, that´s really random.

A short update to say that last night we had an AMAZING house show here in Hilversum. Rumour has it evidence will be out on Morc next week... keep an eye out HERE for it.

Tonight, I go on a solo journey to Aalst, Belgium to play a show with Damo Suzuki of CAN! Vollmar and Annelies go to Haarlem, Netherlands to play at the same venue as Scout Niblett!

I predict both shows will be really fun!

first entry by me, Annelies. So, tonight we have a show at Undercurrent and tomorrow at 4ad.

Tomorrow is the first show with the three of us here in Europe. It will be a special show, as we will all be performing as Annelies's band. The picture above is from our one and only practice this afternoon! It was gloriously fun having Annelies be authoritative to us. We were like school children in a really fun class!

Today started off horribly, as my server decided not to allow me to look at any emails that were sent to me in the last three days... computers can make a good man cry. :(

Anyway, I am too tired to do this shit right now, but I finally got the photo thing working, so there you go. ..many more soon.

We are in Brunswick, Maine... Bluesanct party with Vollmar, Drekka and Static Films!

They are watching that show, The Office. I know that it is the point of the whole thing, but GOD DAMN is that show uncomfortable to watch. You just feel so embarrassed for everyone on it! It's really funny.

I was going to try to upload some pictures from the first few days of tour, but I can't get them on the computer here just yet... so maybe tomorrow.

We drove ALL NIGHT to get from Buffalo, NY to Brunswick, ME. I had the first caffeine in four months or so, and it kept me driving through the night... COAST TO COAST keeping us occupied until 4am. You really have to read the recap from the trucker stories, although they left out the story about the guy who saw a satyr and naked lady come out of the woods and try to sell him a copy of Easy Rider magazine.

The first few days have been typical US touring... lots of fun, a few incredibly nice people, miniscule audiences and not drinking enough water. Tomorrow, I will give a more in-depth report once I get the photos off the camera.
